**Participants must be approved by Special Education Administration and have taken the NCI 1-day or refresher training in the current school year.
This training in Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NCI) is a program to provide for the care, welfare, safety, and security of everyone involved in a crisis situation. Staff will learn safe but effective techniques for physical management of students who are in crisis. Staff will also review the current ASD Board Policy on restraint/seclusion. Wear comfortable clothing and footwear (no open-toed shoes).
